My shoe size is 9. A true 9. Not a sometimes 9 and 1/2 or even 10 (unless I wanna put on a couple pairs of socks for my very own Tim Gunn-ish 'make it work' moment) so it pains me, literally pains me when I see the perfect shoe and it's a size too small. 'Cause if I have such a hard time getting into one size too big, you can imagine how it goes for one size too small. Maybe I could do a little game of squeeze play to fit into these particular booted beauties? Yeah. And just suffer the consequences later??
